Travancore School offers a range of interactive workshops, professional development and literature reviews to schools or teams. We invite schools to talk with us about their needs and offer a model of professional development suitable for their context. The list below is not exhaustive and we would be happy to have further discussions around targeted PD with either short-term or longer-term goals.

 

Programs run with School Staff

 

Mental Health First Aid  - this is a nationally registered 2 full day program which recieves a national certificate of completion. It covers the most relevant mental disorders in youth and is targeted towards teachers, welfare officers, coordinators, parents, leadership who work with adolescents. Girls in Art - A creative six-session program for the middle years to engage students who are experiencing poor engagement at school

 

Understanding the Mental Health Continuum - we currently only have a PD established for secondary students, but we can very easily create one for primary students.
